Warning: This Action is Permanent
Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data including properties, tenants, leases, payments, documents, and diary entries. This action cannot be undone.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:
- All Property Records: Property details, addresses, ownership information, and property-related documents
- All Tenant Information: Tenant profiles, contact information, and tenant-specific documents
- All Lease Agreements: Active and historical leases, terms, and conditions
- Payment History: All payment records, transaction history, and financial data
- All Documents: Uploaded files, photos, contracts, and attachments
- Diary Entries: All diary notes and landlord journal entries
- Account Information: Your profile, settings, and login credentials
Before You Delete Your Account
We recommend taking these steps before proceeding:
- Export Your Data: Use the app's export feature to download a copy of all your property and tenant data for your records.
- Download Documents: Save any important documents, photos, or files you've uploaded to the app.
- Cancel Subscriptions: If you have an active subscription, cancel it before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
- Notify Affected Parties: Inform your tenants if necessary that you will no longer be using the platform.
How to Delete Your Account
1Delete Through the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly through the app:
- Open the LawveeTenants app
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Account Management
- Tap Delete Account
- Follow the confirmation prompts
- Your account will be deleted immediately
2Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, send an email to:
Subject: Account Deletion Request
Please include in your email:
- Your registered email address
- Your account username (if applicable)
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete all your data
We will process your request within 2-3 business days and send you a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
Data Retention Policy
Immediate Deletion: Upon account deletion, your data is immediately removed from our active systems and you will no longer be able to access it.
Backup Systems: Data in backup systems will be permanently deleted within 30 days as part of our standard backup rotation cycle.
Legal Obligations: In rare cases, we may be required to retain certain data for legal, regulatory, or security purposes. This data is stored securely and deleted as soon as legally permissible.
Third-Party Services: If you used third-party integrations, you may need to delete data from those services separately.
